New members are nominated by existing members or may self-nominate and then elected by the Directors. Membership is meant to be a small recognition or endorsement of standing in Andean research.

If you are a member and wish to nominate someone or are not a member and wish to nominate yourself, please complete the form below. Not all fields are required, but additional information is very helpful.

ACTIVE (Has an interest in Andean studies and the Institute. Most members have a PH.D. or are pursuing an advanced degree in a related field and/or have made distinguished contributions to the field and shown an interest in the Institute’s activities.)

CORRESPONDING (Shows great interest in the field or has made distinguished contributions to the field. Resides outside of the United States and Canada. Has shown interest in the Institute but may not have been able to participate in Institute’s in-person activities due to challenges of cost of international travel.)
