How to pay dues
New members:
- The IAS Treasurer will inform new members of their election by the Board and provide a link you can use to pay dues with a credit card, debit card, or PayPal account.
- Or mail a check to the Treasurer, Institute of Andean Studies, P.O. Box 9307, Berkeley, California 94709.
Existing members:
- The easiest way to pay dues is with a credit card, debit card, or PayPal account at the link to your personalized dues page in the e-mail you received. You won’t need to log in or enter a password. The link, sent at the beginning of the calendar year, is valid for 90 days.
- Or log into the IAS website and use the “Pay Dues” link in the sidebar of the “Membership Dues” page. It also connects you to your personalized dues page.
- Or mail a check to the IAS at the address under “New members,” above.
If you missed paying last year’s dues but wish to receive paper copies of the two Ñawpa Pacha issues that were published, you may do so by making a payment. Please contact the Treasurer for details.
Not sure if you paid your dues?
The Treasurer can also tell you if you’re up-to-date with dues payments. If you paid twice, the duplicate payment can be credited to a future year. (If the IAS refunds duplicate payments made via a card or PayPal, it’s charged a fee. As a nonprofit that tries to keep costs low, the Board asks members to help us avoid such fees.)
Are dues tax deductible?
Because dues include a subscription to Ñawpa Pacha, they are not tax deductible as charitable contributions. (They may be a deductible business expense.) To make a tax deductible donation, please visit the Donate page.
