We are pleased to announce that the 67th IAS Annual ONLINE meetings will be held on Friday and Saturday, January 8–9 2027

The call for presentations will open from 15th of June until the 15th of October. The 2027 Annual meetings will be held online, where participants will present and discuss presentations and posters. Members, non-members, and students are all welcome to participate and submit proposals for presentations and posters in English and Spanish.

FORMATS AND DISCUSSION
Presentations can be up to 20 minutes long with 10 minutes of discussion. Posters are submitted in a JPG format suited to screen viewing (more detailed information on the 15th of June). At the online meetings, presenters and first authors of posters will participate in online presentation and following discussion sessions; coauthors may participate along with other attendees. 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE
The deadline for proposal submissions is October 15th, 2026. The review committee will notify authors of acceptance or rejection by November 15th. The preliminary program and abstracts will be posted by the end of November. The first author of an accepted poster should upload their presentation content files by January 4th.

PRESENTATION AWARDS
This year, the funds for the IAS Annual Travel Grant will be awarded as Presentation Awards divided in equal amounts to the first author of each accepted presentation (not poster) submitted by a first author who lives and is employed in South America. To participate in this award, select that option when submitting a proposal. The deadline is the same as for all others.

CODE OF CONDUCT SELF-CERTIFICATION
The Code of Conduct of the Institute of Andean Studies requires all participants, including all co-authors of a paper or poster to self-certify that they have never been the subject of adverse findings from a discrimination or harassment proceeding, lawsuit, administrative complaint, or disciplinary action; nor are they currently the subject of an open investigation or proceeding related to professional misconduct, such as a discrimination or harassment lawsuit or administrative complaint.

The lead author will self-certify upon submitting the paper or poster proposal. Co-authors must complete a separate self-certification form  to be included as an author by January 4th to be included in the program.
