Friends of the IAS
- Friends include those with avocational interests in the field, archaeologists who work elsewhere in the world and in non-academic roles in South America, educators, and others. U.S.-based scholarly professionals eligible for IAS membership and students in Andean studies are not eligible for this category.
- Friends do not pay dues or vote but receive communications about and may participate in IAS activities, such as the annual meeting. They may also pay to receive Ñawpa Pacha.
